If you have a question, need help, or need to report a problem, please call 1-800-541-5555 (outside of California, please call 916-636-1980) for the CA Department of Health Care Services Telephone Service Center. As a participant in the Medi-Cal program your feedback is important.

It’s helpful to have the following information available before you call so you can get to the right person faster:
  1. The Medi-Cal Member’s beneficiary ID number
  2. or
  3. The last 4 digits of the Member’s Social Security Number
  4. And the Member’s date of birth (2 digit month and 4-digit year) i.e. 12/1961
